Join us for our open day of the 2025 season at Ashton’s Garden Centre Tatamagouche!

The long winter wait is finally over and Ashton’s Garden Centre is opening for the start of the 2025 season. The daffodil walk will be open with our early flowering daffodils and bluebells, We’ll be fully stocked ready for Spring with summer bedding plants, perennials, shrubs, grasses, trees, fruits, herbs and vegetables – along with our ready made planters and hanging baskets. Our shop will be a feast for the eyes with gardening essentials and gifts.

So whats new for 2025? We are stocking seeds for the first time this year, and have a full range of MacKenzie Seeds to choose from. We have also expanded our shrubbery with an additional 9 new benches – which means lots more to choose from!

We have 2 new members on our staff team with expertise in vegetable gardening, perennial gardening and native plants.

Let thousands of daffodils and bluebells brighten your day – as you walk through woodland at the start of Spring and wash those winter blues away!

DAFFODIL WALK

Celebrate the Arrival of Spring!
Join us at Ashton’s Garden Centre and celebrate the arrival of Spring with a woodland walk lined with thousands of daffodils that’ll wash away those winter blues. With educational and interesting fact signage to be found along the way, opportunities for that perfect selfie, spots to sit and enjoy the scenery and a third of the walk along a river – you’ll feel the stresses of the world melt away as you enjoy the chance to get out after a long cold winter! We also have a large selection of Daffodils potted up and ready to take home, with many varieties you will have seen during your walk. The Daffodil Walk & Spring Celebration is not to be missed rain or shine! It is Spring, after all!

Fun for All the Kids

Let the kids run free and enjoy the great outdoors. With magical and educational signs along the walk, a free scavenger hunt and colouring sheet they’re sure to have fun! And with the introduction and expansion of our Fairy Walk there is so much to discover and inspire!

With Summer just around the corner, it’s time to think about planting up that garden, dusting off your containers and sprucing up that potting shed! Come browse our extensive range of Summer Bedding Plants, Hanging Baskets, Planters, Vegetables and Herbs in our greenhouse, or peruse our range of perennials! This year we have increased our shrubs, trees and perennials range, added our first shop unit with a range of composts, fertilisers and gardening accessories!
